Bogdan is a photographer, cameraman and filmmaker, environmentalist, extreme athlete and author of 53 books about Slovenia and the Balkans. He is Initiator, controller and co-ordinator of the movement Guardians of Universe, which he has been creating for the past four years. A lecturer in the Faculty of Sport in Ljubljana, “spiritus agens” of the Fair Play movement in Slovenia and programme director of the Slovenian Olympic Academy. Dr. Pinter is a friend/lover of unspoiled nature, a mountaineering instructor and mentor to generations of mountain guides. His vivid and heart-warming words easily persuade people of all ages to spend their leisure time in/together with Nature in a responsible and positive way.
Denis CIZAR (CROATIA)
Professional photographer and free-lance journalist, a keen ecologist, who enjoys exploring the nature with a paddle in his hand. Lover of rivers and sea and fighter for unspoiled nature along the Mura and Drava rivers. Denis is a licenced raft guide and chairman of the Rafting Club "Drava-Mura", which offers unforgettable adventures to all who are seeking for a genuine experience with nature. He has worked with Bogdan from the very beginning of the founding of the movement Guardians of Universe in Croatia.
Srboljub PEŠIĆ (SERBIA)
Amateur film-maker from Serbia in the field of short documentary films, Srboljub is creator of the first film Guardians of the Balkans.
A lover of extreme sports and clean, unspoiled nature, Srboljub has worked in several humanitarian organizations. He believes that the preservation of nature and living life in harmony with nature are the key for humanity.
Ana KRAUTHAKER (SLOVENIA)
Ana is a Radio director and translator, who collaborates with Bogdan as a main assistant in different fields of work. If you cannot get her on the phone, she is probably in the mountains or learning the kayak Eskimo roll. Ana believes that we should live a more modest life-style in order to save nature and is patiently waiting for nature’s chance of getting a vote in the world’s parliament.
